The light in the north of England can be dramatic, and this infrared image, made in the Yorkshire Moors, really shows why this area is such a haven for artists.
We are thrilled to announce that we are joining Artsy as a gallery partner. Artsy is the third largest online art sales platform after Christies and Sotheby's, and we're excited by the possibilities this collaboration will bring. We'll be able spread our art and our message at the same time, expanding our art-and-nature-loving community. Look for us on artsy.net from 22 January 2018.
In February 2018, Karen Thurman will start making her platinum/palladium prints available for sale for the first time. This is a relatively new venture for Karen, but is a natural next step from the silver gelatin printing she has done for years. She is super excited by the extended range of tone this medium offers her.
Mick Thurman has started experimenting with carbon printing, and we're looking forward to making some of those images available to you all some time later this year. Carbon printing is distinguished by rich, deep blacks and a great range of tones. With a bit of luck, we'll also be able to offer some of his pinhole images this year too.
